Agreed. If money constraints are the issue, a mil would get any number of lesser fighters in the ring. Not bad fighters, just not as credible as Porter.

As you said, Porter has the resume, and can and has made more for fights recently. He has headlined cards.

I think he is the real deal, but Crawford really needs that type of name on his resume.

I agree. But they were losses. And the only top (If even that) WW he's beaten is Garcia. JUst because you male a lot a few fights doesn't mean that's now how much you should make until you retire.

Broner had a level of popularity. We both know that carries a lot of weight w/ your purse. I mean, someone like Broner should be lucky to make 500K, but he acts a fool, gets ratings. Porter doesn't get ratings, not very charismatic, not very known outside the ring. Those factors are, or should, be taken in to consideration. Porter is a b-sider.

 

Porter might just beat Crawford . I havent seen anything from Crawford that would cause concern. Its a way for Crawford to duck Porter if he low balls him

 

TC's skill level and ring smarts are too much for Porter. All porter can hope to do is maul and make it ugly.

 

When has he done this?? Who has he beaten?? A one legged guy who could hardly walk let alone fight C'mon Ive yet to see him anything spectacular. His Momma is more scarey than he is

They're lowballing him. He's made that money and more consistently since he first became champion since 2014. Porter will fight Bud if they pay him appropriately. This is by far Crawford's best opponent (before any tries to say Brook, Bud beat shot Brook - who is not better than current Porter & Porter fought a prime Brook).
