Porter and his team got away with wrestling and hitting behind the head , and still clearly lost, and got a pizza face to show for it.
Then Shawn comes out during the interviews saying " he didn't beat the champ. I'm still the champ" ?

    What happened to sportmanship ?
Why is it that many African American fighters ( Broner vs Maidana, Bradley vs Pacman 1 and 2, Alexander vs Porter. Berto vs Guerrero, ...) just can show genuine sportmanship after a defeat and need to blame the judges or any other bull excuse ?

And why don't commentators call them on it ?

Shawn sounded exactly like Broner last night.
    A whinny *****.

  3. You're racist.

Hope you don't take that attitude of yours out to the real world.

Not specific to African-American fighters thats just silly. Froch, Cotto, Marquez etc etc have all done the same. Most are very gracious in defeat for example Gary Russell the other weekend. Porters a good guy, was just in shock and experiencing a bit of a denial

    Saying he didn't got beat = a "bit of a denial" ?

Sore whinny ***** , and two faced hypocrite ( him and his dad both knew they got whooped).

It's all easy to be gracious and nice as long as you win; but when you lose, all that goes instantly out of the window, and you see the real man.

In the real world, my friend, there's just as much African racists than there are white ones.

You should go out more often.

    Cotto ?

He was incredibly gracious after being stopped by Pac and Margarito.

He took the scoring of his decision losses to PBF and Trout a bit hard, but never disrespected his opponent the way Shawn and his team did.

Because a lot of these idiots are insecure and big headed...When they get owned like last night or Broner with Maidana they look for any excuse they can find as to why they lost. Look at Floyd for example..the guy is so insecure that he can't even admit Maidana was a tough fight..instead he has to make up some pathetic story that he let Maidana win 6 rounds to "put on a great show".

What i believe isn't the point here.

The real point is how Porter and his team feel it's OK to disrespect the man who beat them fairly and squarly and don't get called by the medias for their bad sportsmanship.

People of any ethnicity can be a sore loser, why harp on the fact that he is African American?

Unless of course you're race baiting?

The WBC had suspended Adrian Broner for it's racial comments.
I've followed boxing for 25 years and can't recall them doing this ever before.

Are you suggesting the WBC are a bunch of racists ?

I agree this guy is race baiting.

Marquez was a terrible sport in his losses. Froch too has been a bad sport

Seth Mitchell was a great sport in his losses.

This has nothing to do with race and more to do with character.

Why else would you bring up that he's Black besides the fact that you're obviously race baiting? You may very well be the one who is in denial of that. Don't you think there's enough racial animosity going on without you adding fuel to the fire? Attempting to single out Black fighters for being bad sports without acknowledging the ones who are good sports? Add to the fact that you do not acknowledge other races of fighters who have done the same tells me that you have an agenda.
