That was sickening...How on God's Earth did that man stand up to those repeated left uppercuts...it was academic anyway. REFEREEE!

 

The ref should have stopped it sooner, he could have killed him in there. Brutal.

 

Call me cruel but i thought the stoppage wasn't toooooo bad. As it was the crowd went silly, wrongdully so.

I've always wondered whether Kendall supposedly KO'ing George "Scrap Iron" Johnson in one round is a mistake on BoxRec's part. Johnson always fought at 200 pounds but is said to have weighed 163 against Kendall. It must have been another George Johnson.

This was an impressive display by Foster against a solid contender in Andy Kendall. His opposition at LHW is said to be mediocre but he took on numerous top 10 ranked contenders. You can only fight who's in front of you, and he moved up to HW in order to challenge himself. Unfortunately his lanky frame didn't carry any extra weight and he had a prime Frazier and Muhammad Ali to deal with.

 

Bloody hell that was indeed brutal, I'm surprised Kendall got up so quickly afterwards.
The ref should have stopped it at 1:50 when he came over for the second time.
