Shelley Finkel - I called Hearn. Hearn doesn't want the Wilder-Joshua fight.

Nice postfight press conference video that sums up the situation as it stands:

    This content is protected

Finkel (at the 1:41 mark) - Summary: Hearn sent me an email saying Wilder can fight Joshua if he fights Whyte first, Finkel said he couldn't get on the phone fast enough. Hearn asked what they wanted to fight Whyte. Finkel said that's easy, just let us know when we get Joshua. Hearn never responded. There's no silence on our end. There's no avoiding. We'll fight wherever they offer the most money. I've been around this game a long time. If someone wants to fight, they fight. Hearn doesn't want the fight.

DiBella (at the 3 minute mark) Summary - Why shouldn't they fight next? They both litererally fought one week apart. Neither is hurt. They both just fought mandatories. They're on the same schedule. Anthony Joshua just doesn't want to fight this man (Wilder) right now.

Oh please. They don't mean tomorrow. They mean next.

Joshua does plan to fight again, doesn't he? Or is he going to retire because of the broken nose?

Fight Wilder next. Let's get this series of fights on. They can fight every year for the next three or four years. But they need to begin.

He said neither was hurt that wasn't true.

If wilder wants the fight go to England and take 75-25, he brings nothing to the table apart from a burger king belt. Its like liam smith thinking he can call the shots against canelo

And they can fight every year for the next 4 years?

They will fight once wilder will end up in a heap on the floor, get he's cheque and more than likely never fight again unless he blows it all on drugs and hookere

    He brings nothing?

Are you literally arguing AGAINST this biggest fight at heavyweight that can be made?

    Christ.

Were you against the Bowe-Holyfield trilogy, too? Did you say Lewis and Holyfield shouldn't unify, and you'd rather see Lewis continue to fight the Frans Bothas of the world?

    Enough.

I get that people like one guy over another, but bottom line is the fight needs to happen.

People (like you) arguing AGAINST it happening or idiots.

I can't believe people are actually buying into this ****.
Wilder and his crew actually trying to turn him ducking into AJ ducking.

Wilder is fighting Breazle in spring. FACT

The AJ fight is there for Wilder in Summer 2018. Wilder probably wont take it or demand it be in the USA or something stupid.

Well if AJ is ducking him then I fully expect Wilder to call out the next best guy?
    Povetkin or Ortiz right?

The biggest fight is dictated by money.
Joshua brings all the money, wilder is unknown in the UK and practically unknown in america, he can only make 1.4 million a fight, that's a joke.

Joshua vs Parker is a bigger fight because Parker has a bigger profile in tge UK and world wide.
Joshua also has the two fury's ,povetkin, which are huge fights, and lets be honest he can make 20 million fighting anyone
Wilder doesn't have any options yet us asking for 50-50. Its like lian smith demanding 50-50 for canelo

If wilder wants the fight so bad, he needs to accept he's fair share 20-25% and get to Wembley, other wise he will be fight for 1 million purses in america until someone knocks him ouy

Why the summer? Are you another guy who thinks they should DELAY this fight due to WEATHER?

Jesus. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you people?

They CAN FIGHT NEXT. So let's see it next.

Anyone arguing THEY SHOULDN'T fight next is a moron. Honestly.

The fight makes sense at the end of next year.

    Not next up.

Wilder v Breazeale next up makes sense.

Joshua v Parker or Miller next up makes sense.

Win those fights & Wilder v Joshua at the end of next year is blockbuster.

No he doesn't. In the biggest fight in New Zealand HISTORY, Parker-Ruiz sold 9,000 tickets. And Parker's first defense had to be moved to smaller venue because they couldn't even sell that many for it.

Parker's fights are televised in the UK just like Wilder's are. It's not like British boxing fans are oblivious to who Wilder is.

YOU ARE HONESTLY AGAINST A WILDER-JOSHUA fight? Unbelievable.

So it would be a dud if they fought next, but it would be a BLOCKBUSTER if Wilder beats Breazeale next?

Do you guys actually think before you type?

The Joshua-Wilder fight would be a blockbuster if they fought next. And, if it's a great fight, the rematch would be a blockbuster. And, if they split, a third fight would be a blockbuster.

The mandos that get wedged in there just delay us from seeing the two best fight. Do you work for the WBC?

Are you SERIOUSLY saying you would rather watch Wilder-Breazeale OVER Wilder-Joshua? Seriously?

Parker has a bigger profile in the UK because he fights here.
Also new Zealanders are patriotic sports fans they will back him

Wilder is a no body with a worthless belt ,the only Brits who know about him are the ones on boxing forums who think is he a complete joke a good for a laugh, that's about it.

Parker, both fury's and povetkin are bigger fights.
If wilder wants it he should accept 20% instead of demanding it in america and asking for 50-50.

He is the liam smith of the heavyweight division
