Shelley Finkel - I called Hearn. Hearn doesn't want the Wilder-Joshua fight.

Well, I hope they stage it in the summer. Or nobody will come, apparently.

Even AJ's mother would prefer to see him against Wilder, collect the belt and beat the #2 guy in his division instead of wanting to see him against some teenager with a 4-0 pro record. So, either you were trolling with that post or you are indeed insecure about an AJ/Wilder fight.

The only option you mentioned in this post is a theoretical fight between Joshua and WBC Champ Dillion Whyte. Thats never happening , so what better options does Joshua have next year?

I'll say this with a straight face as well. current DD knocks the crap out of Wilder right now. His fundamentals, defence and flurries make Wilder look like the amateur he is.

Eliminators have to be ordered , then eliminators have to be fought. Sometimes there are a couple of eliminators . All this takes time. Joshua has no mandatory on the horizon. I don't get why you want to act like he does.

First, there is no WBA regular or interim champ, so there is nothing to talk to the WBA about. They're still trying to sort out their own title messes.

Second, how do you think the WBA loses money if Joshua doesn't fight a mandatory? The WBA makes money every time Joshua defends the WBA belt.

If Joshua fought Wilder, they'd make MORE money because they'd get a percentage of both guy's purses, and both purses (Joshua and Wilder's), you would assume, would be larger than the purse for another meaningless contender.

The more money each fighter makes, the more money the WBA makes (3 percent of a $10 million purse is worth more than 3 percent of a $500,000 purse).

The WBA makes more than if Joshua fought another guy like Takam.

There is nothing standing in the way of Joshua-Wilder that couldn't be moved if both parties wanted the fight.

I did say Haye if he KOs Bellew ( is that fight still on)

And Joseph Fing Parker is an option in 2018.

Deontay's team cant bring a belt holder like Parker to the States. That sucks for DW and honestly its humiliating for the great US HW history that it come to this. 10 years no champ then the guy that picks the belt is a sham who sells less than lightweights

Ortiz was revoked of the position 3 days ago, WBA are not going to spend time and money doing another bout of eliminators, there WILL be a replacement and that fight will be early 2018. As of right now there is no WBA mando because they are still deciding who Joshua will face. IF they decide to do eliminators than that opens the door for unification bouts. This is on WBA atm, not on Hearn and AJ ducking Wilder.

You can't make dates and stage fights when the WBA might turn around in a months time and say "You have to fight Wach on the 24th of April" WBA is stalling everything here.

Nobody is talking about fights with Parker or Haye. Everybody is talking about the Wilder fight so that is the fight that needs to be made. Its Wilder , then whoever else.

You mean Wilder is talking about it. Hearn spoke with Parkeer 's promoters just recently. He said they contacted him for a 2018 unification fight so that's that.

Honestly, considering some more recent boxing history ( last decade) ...you can forget about AJ vs Wilder anytime soon. Wont happen next year. So if you're a Wilder fan you can worry about what bum will be next.
AJ will still have stadium fights and might even pick another belt in 2018. That would be his 3rd.

You do know that Wembley is being paid for and used this year by a football club? (soccer team). It isn't even available until the middle of may.

So why is Hearns saying it makes the most money in Summer in a stadium fight? You're saying Hearns is lying and he's simply crazy?
