Shelley Finkel - I called Hearn. Hearn doesn't want the Wilder-Joshua fight.

No it's not. You know what's bigger? Joshua-Wilder for the WBC/WBA/IBF titles in the spring and Joshua-Wilder II for the WBC/WBA/IBF titles in the fall.

See how that's bigger than Wilder-Breazeale? Or are you Dominic's cousin?

What an awful comparison to make. LL at that time just smashed the hell out of top 5 ranked Razor Rudduck and already had Gary Mason on his resume. Till Wilder beats somebody ranked in the TOP TEN he can shut the hell up.

So you don't want to see Wilder-Joshua, either.

    Got it.

Yeah, who would want to watch that?

Probably be really boring. Nobody would show up. Zero interest. No press coverage. A real snoozefest.

    Clown.

No, I want to see it so it'll shut up all of Wilder's fans once and for all. Would I rather see it over fights like
    AJ vs T Fury
    AJ vs H Fury
    AJ vs Pulev
    AJ vs Povetkin
    AJ vs Parker
    AJ vs Ortiz
    AJ vs Miller
    AJ vs Dubois
    AJ vs Usyk
    AJ vs Gassiev

I'd seriously prefer all the above bouts rather than watching AJ knock-out Wilder. That's how badly I think Wilder is, and how much chance I give him vs AJ. Wilder's been knocking out bums his entire career, this seems to have given him a false sense of accomplishment when it comes to his skills. He's never tested those skills at a WORLD level as yet. There's a glaring reason for that, he's vulnerable as **** to counters and he's holding a glass jaw.

Like all of those names above deserve a shot at AJ as much as Wilder does.

My interest in the heavyweight division extends beyond Joshua & Wilder.

While I consider them to be at the top of the tree (for now), I think both have questionable chins that other fighters could potentially take advantage of. In that sense, I don't consider them the be all & end all of the division.

I think a fight between the two of them is premature but yes, if they keep winning, it should certainly happen next year.

I think that's a perfectly reasonable & sensible position to adopt.

I also think it's more realistic & likely to occur than the scenario you are proposing (unless of course one of them gets knocked off which could certainly happen).

Got it. You don't want to see Wilder and Joshua fight. You want them to fight EVERYONE ELSE so it's "bigger."

Yeah. Brilliant plan. If I had a dollar for every time someone said "Wait, the fight'll get bigger if they fight everyone else first."

Wilder-Joshua is the BIGGEST HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT right now!

It won't GET BIGGER. It's the biggest heavyweight right now.

    So let's see it NOW.

And we can see it again later in the year.

    And the year after that.

I'm all for seeing the BIGGEST FIGHT that can be made OVER and OVER again.

If BIGGER fights become available, make them, too.

Until then, MAKE THIS ONE. It's the biggest that can be made NOW!

Everyone would watch. It would be exciting. It would be a huge event. Let's see it NOW. And as many other times as they want to do it until fans say ...

"Boy, Wilder and Joshua have fought so many times, I wish they'd fight other people."

Let's get to THAT point. To do that, though, they need to begin by fighting each other.

There's some merit in what you're saying but I think reality is the fight's not happening now.

I'd prefer to deal with reality rather than fantasy.

    Premature as compared to WHAT?

Joshua is 28. Wilder is 32. They are the two dominant champs. They are both approaching or in their primes.

Most fans prefer to watch the top boxers fight each other in their primes as often as possible, don't they?

You people have been watching Floyd Mayweather too much. The "optimal" time for guys to fight is NOT when they're 39 or 40.

God forbid two dominant undefeated champs in their primes ACTUALLY FIGHT EACH OTHER a couple times.

Let's see them fight Dominic Breazeale again. That would be better.

    I'm glad there's "some" merit.

    I'm done.

The fight isn't happening first up next up year.

If the fight goes off at the end of next year, I'll enjoy it as much as anyone.

At best, it's six months away.

Pretending it's going to happen before then is in the realm of fantasy.

Stadium fight in U.K. next summer.

    Both need interim fights.

Is there a better fight for a Wilder than Whyte? A huge payday and big exposure in UK

There's no reason why this fight can't happen next year. It's a big money fight for both men.
