If AJ-Wilder got made this year boxing would be shocked!! Big unification almost always take a long time to get signed

 

It’s sad but true. I sure hope that $50MM is still on the table when Eddie and AJ realize their mistake.

 

A take it or leave ultimatum of $12mm is “pushing for the fight”? And then rejecting $50mm? That’s pushing for the fight? Put down the Daily Mail and get a clue, Brittard. Eddie and AJ do not want this fight.

 

The problem with letting a fight like this marinate too much is that if either guy loses they’ve lost their shine - and both Joshua and Wilder look vulnerable.

No seriously someone on here the other day suggested it could of been Wilder on Twitter by himself trying to look good and his team realising what he’d done have gone in and backed him up,to me that fits as I can’t see any other reason why theyed wanna make themselves look so silly.
I hate the A side thing but it does exist and it’s just a fact the AJ is the A side going off his trophy cabinet and higher earnings so with this move it’s like they were trying to reverse their B side status or something,very odd?

 

I think the difference is that Hearn sent through a offer and was totally ignored..

I do wonder if he did do this on his own, seeing AJ saying give me 50 mill and i'll sign tomorrow so Wilder decided that he would..

Only problem is his missus won't give him 50 million to pay AJ (mainly because they don't have it)..

Now the rest of his "management team" can't really out him for the complete moron he is obviously so they have tried to make out like they were part of it and then have some unrealistic demands put into it i.e. sign unseen, 24 hours etc...

The sad part is how many Wilder fans (some I normally consider quite smart) fell for this hook line and sinker, plus the few who just made themselves look even more stupid than normal aggressively defending this scheme..

 

I can’t say that I blame them but the problem with the mayweather pattern leaves fighters with no option if they lose- especially by ko. And you can pretty much count on when Joshua and Wilder lose it’ll be by ko. What makes this fight intriguing is that both guys are undefeated ko artists that appear chinny and the fight would be for the undisputed championship. But if either of them get starched prior to fighting each other the mystique of this match is almost completely gone.

 

Whomever came up with this brilliant stall tactic or whatever BS offer deserves a dumas award.

 

It fits for sure and Hearn isn’t daft he’s constantly talking to the camera at Wilder and telling him he’s being had off by his team,this would totally make Wilder wanna do something like this to show that he’s not being made a mug of and does infact have 50 million spare hanging round just to pay Joshua lol.
