Course he does as they have obligations to networks and the like and in any case didn’t AJ say on Twitter(Wilders fav medium)let’s go,meaning if it were there he’d go for it?

    He did yeah.

The most telling fact is this......

Wilder has already arranged to fight Breazeale this year, with a venue already booked.

Joshua could easily arrange his mandatory now, but he isn't, as he wants this fight with Wilder.

    I don't think he believes it's there....

He just desperately wants the fight.

When did they turn down 50 million Dollars? When AJ said "LETS ROLL" or when Eddie said "we are interested lets have a meeting"???????? They have accepted the money on offer but they have not accepted the contract.

This must be the smallest contract in the world. 1 line. Accept the money. My contract to pay off my Xbox is bigger than that.

Joshua Parker got made within months of its first being bandied around. Same with Wlad (which wasn't a unification, but a massive fight nonetheless). If both sides truly want it it'll get made. Thus far Joshua has shown more willingness to unify and take on risky fights, so I'm more prepared to side with him than Wilder at the moment.

The fight isn't going to build just by waiting till next year. Both sides need to put the work in. Joshua looks like he'll do that, but will Wilder? A fight with Breazeale isn't going to do anything for his brand, and will likely garner exactly the same sort of interest as every other Wilder defence of recent years barring the Ortiz fight.

Meanwhile Joshua's likely going to fight Povetkin (a top quality fight) or Miller, which will raise his profile in the States and strengthen his position there. To a certain degree Wilder can raise his profile off the back of Joshua, simply by being associated with him and keeping the idea of a unification fresh in everyone's mind, but the fight won't become the sort of mouthwatering anticipated 50-50 clash it could be unless Wilder actually puts in some work himself. The Ortiz fight was a great start, but just like the first Stiverne fight it looks likely to be an anomaly in the usual bum beating tour he seems desperate to leave.

If Wilder wants to start genuinely building interest in this fight he needs to do it the hard way, by taking on hard meaningful fights, exposing himself to a wider market, and engaging in vigorous self-promotion. He also needs to drop the delusional and self-entitled attitude that leads him to think he's already done everything already, because it's killing his potential growth.

Precisely. AJ's already accepted. That fulfils Wilder's stipulation for meeting and arranging a contract. Let's roll.

Wilder does not have the money, he lied! Wilder does not want to fight Joshua because he knows he will get knocked out! Hearn flew to New York, but Wilder's team was a no show....................Wilder signed to fight Breazeale a long time ago as I have been posting for a long time now. Breazeale is owned by Haymon, will take a dive if needed, was knocked out by Joshua, can't fight at all. Wilder was just running his mouth, Joshua/Wilder fight will never happen. Ryabinskiy won the purse bid for a fight between Povektin and Wilder, but Povetkin was framed, VADA cleared Povetkin, but Haymon would not allow the WBC to allow the fight............................Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016. Yes, Povetkin was found not guilty by the courts!!! Wilder should be forced to fight Povetkin, but Haymon owns the WBC. When Haymon tells the WBC to jump, the WBC says "How High?" Wilder is a fraud, he never intended to fight Joshua at all..................
