I usually only go to that site to read any new news out there...however I usually notice a stupid post that I would like to respond to once in a while. so a few months back i signed up and they were suppose to send me my new account by email...but it never came so I left it alone...then i tried again today and still no email....and I even tried a different account and still no response. WTF...is anybody else a member there? what is the problem...or are they full or something:huh
I am, I had no problems. Sherdog is VERY slow though, they need to buy some more bandwidth, for the vast majority of the time I can't even get into the forums from google. Pisses me off.
I wouldnt worry about it too much. I remembe when that site was nothing more than dirt with crappy old barn fights on.How times have changed!
It's just frustrating reading the crap some of those posters write and not being able to respond to it. For the most part around here it's usally reasonable stuff posted....and of course we have different opinions but I respect a reasonable point of view....reading some of the stuff on that site and not being able to resond to it is driving me nuts :nut
Whats worse is some of those cretins actually go out of there way to PM you there views as if you actually care.
Thats actually the same reason I joined up, I ghosted Sherdog, got so frustrated with some posters I had to make comments. Then I realized they're all trolls intentionally looking for a reaction and I had foolishly fallen into their bait. That being said, the Heavyweight forum is no worse than the general boxing forum over here.
Its all crap.I dont even read it even though im a member.The only thing i check every now and then are up coming fights.
I read some of the smaller forums there, but the main MMA forum is a train wreck. Sometimes there's a decent MMA discussion in there, but most of it is straight garbage. I come here to talk real MMA with some level-headed people who know what they're talking about. I go there if I want a good chuckle, or a few "WTF?!" kind of moments.
The subforums are good. I listen to their radio shows everyday at work. I learn about 3,000 new things every time I listen to Jordan Breen talk about MMA.
The contenders forum is good however its got really slow I used to post there a lot now I barley do however the news and interviews are good.
Been on sherdog for 6 years now and this is the worst I've seen it. I remember when the largest amount of people in the HWs would be about 100 members.
