Sapp was huge back then. There was even talk about him fighting Mike Tyson. Come to think of it he was actually one of the first MMA fighters I had heard of along with Tito Ortiz. I remember downloading his fights vs Nog, Crocop (haha funny knockout, Sapp looked like a big *****) and Akebono lol. They may have even been the first MMA/K-1 fights I'd seen. He played his part Sapp-Nog is still one of the greatest fights I've ever seen!

Sapp has to be on the list. That guy was huge in Japan. He was so over it was insane. Sherdog putting the death of pride on there list is quite laughable considering when Pride lost there tv deal sherdog didnt even report it. They were in denial and when all the relevations about Pride being run by the Yakuza was coming out of Japan Sherdog as other sites did ignored it.
