It will be announced today at a press conference on the Gold Coast that IBF#8 and WBA#12 Super Middleweight Les Sherrington will be facing IBF #15 Joseph Kwadjo on August 12th.

Kwadjo of course is coming off a 7th round KO of Jamie Pittman, Sherrington his TKO4 over Rubin Williams.

A win for either should see them climb a few places in the IBF rankings. It promises to be an all-action fight while it lasts. Live on Fox Sports.

It's certainly a great opportunity for both fighters to climb the rankings. Not too often these days that contenders are willing to face each other. It should be a great fight to watch.

this should be a good fight and good on Sherro for taking it considering that Pittman put him to sleep a while back, I was there and it was a nasty ko.

I watched the Pittman fight on tele and while he wasnt out cold like Sherro was it should that the fijian can bang. Good onya Les

Boxrec's bull**** 5 star rating system for boxing fights depends on where each fighter is ranked according to their dodgy rankings.
Its good tho as a guide to tell you which matches are poor generally, but wouldnt take it as gospel.

100% pal. Two guys rated top 15 by the IBF fighting each other here - not in a million years but you guys got it done.

    Great stuff to all concerned!

    WAR SHERRO!

Cheers PJ, I'm pretty excited about the fight, should be a barn burner. Goodnight, the rest of the undercard is being worked on. Should be sorted out within the next week or so.
