Well he is with Jamie Myer whos a QLD promoter so I guess that make $$$

Still they must be licking the lips at the thought of fighting Bute....however it's too early for sherro IMO.

    Bad idea.
Let him fight Choc or Sakio first.
That's if they want to make a serious attack on the "whose who" of the division.
If it's just a bash for cash, I suppose they'll take their chances.

It's get's a bit tedious when teams talk about serious plans of fighting at this level & taking these fights when it suits the opposition, when they can get caught cold, (Lack of experience) that the wheels fall off.

You can't remove the inherent risks of what's needed to happen, what fights you have to take, to get into a winning position against world class opposition.
I think you take a far greater risk by standing your boy in front of an elite serious mongrel fighter that has no limits, no boundaries & no concern for anything but getting his opponent out of the ring.

    And that's what it takes.

at this stage of his career it can't hurt. Whilst I don't think he will win atm, I don't think he could beat bute in 3 years anyway. If he takes the fight for what it is and has a dig put his name out there and put on a show.

Or stay in australia and plug away whilst possibly never getting the opportunity again.

I know what your saying but Les has 30 pro fights....if he fights bika or choc and gets beat he will never get the shot at Bute for the world title.

If he fights bute and gets beat he can keep fighting as bute is number 1 SMW in the world.

With respect Ash, we know what a legacy Choc carries by taking an elite fighter "cold".

Had Choc been just a few fights harder, I have no doubt that his history would have been a whole lot different.

Even if he had have beaten Ottke, he would have had the wolves at his door 24/7.
The difference between managed for money & managed for supremacy I guess.
