You're probably right. Steiglitz wasn't too interested by all accounts. Still, the offer received would need to be right for Les to accept the fight as well. Bute's options are limited by the Super 6. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chad Dawson face him soon enough.
Bute might end up fighting Dawson eventually but it won't happen in July. That's for sure (Dawson's fighting Jean Pascal in August). So far the names we've heard for Bute's next opponents are: Stieglitz (Turned down two seven figures offers for a unification) Sartison Brinkley Demers Sherington (according to this tread) I'm probably forgetting someone but who cares. lol Stieglitz was by far the biggest fight (unification) so he got a huge offer. All the others were probably offered less then 25% of what they offered him. They were basically trying to buy off Stieglitz's belt. But he didn't take the bait.
