It wasn`t that one-sided, Shields scored most of her shots in the last 10 seconds of most rounds.

 

I think Marshall should go to the USA if she wants the rematch. . Why should shields come here when she won.

 

Better attendance, Shields isn`t that big in the US.

 

Half agree, but the moneys over here. Shields talking about Vegas. She doesn’t come close to selling out any of the major arenas there…

 

Am I the only one who thought shields looked juiced right up in their first fight? Feather fisted for all her previous fights then suddenly stopping someone like Marshall from coming forward with what looked like hard punches?

Afaik the rematch clause was for the US.
Shields has a lot of leverage now and if she decided to come back here it would be for a load of cash.
I do think Sav would fight a different fight next time or should I say, she should fight a different fight and stay behind the jab. If she can't stay behind the jab she'd lose again imo and even if she did stay behind the jab she could very well lose again.
Maybe these two fighting each other again is the best option for both girls as the pool is shallow for good female fighters at that weight. If sky are willing to throw a load of cash at the fight then they should grab the cash imo

 

There were rumours that Marshall can't enter the States, for the same reason as Tyson Fury, Ben Davison, Macklin etc.

 

She’s be better off looking at Victoria Park.

 

Well, regardless of the Kinahan situation, Peter Fury can't enter America, anyway. That's why he wasn't there for Fury vs Cunningham in 2013.

 

Shields was the winner and performed superbly but it wasn't the white wash some are claiming.

Marshall give her a good fight especially when she was roughing her up.... but the cleaner, flashier and scoring shots were coming from Shields throughout the fight and she was also boxing smart throwing flurries at the end of each round.

It's still the biggest fight and biggest money fight for the pair of them. I'd watch it again.

 

Peter said he'd send her on her own. Obviously he meant without Peter but with the best and closest team around Sav that Peter could muster.

 

They won't be filling St. James Park.

 

First fight was a decent contest. It was Co petitive with shields having too much.

I didn't like Marshall gamelan in the first fight.

She had the rematch clause, so it all makes sense.

Looking forward to seeing if Marshall can improve.
