Good that it's not PPV. Another Eddie tried and failed to make. Amazing what can be done without an egotistical promoted getting in the way.

Build up should be fun and tbh I've got 10x more interest in this than I did Taylor v Serrano.

From the other thread on this, I stand very much corrected. Expensive move by Sky but well done to them for pulling it together.

Sky really going all in with an all womens card.

Should do big ratings and Clarissa is kinda the ideal heel that people will tune in to watch get beat.

Is it definitely not PPV? I could see no mention either way on their website.

Why on earth would this be PPV anyway?

Good stuff that hopefully see Sheilds get humbled again and Mayer v baumgardner should be equally as good if not better.

The PR, hype and ‘step towards equality’ that having women headline a PPV would bring. Hearn was desperate to do it with Taylor before Covid happened.

As it is, Sky have shat the bed a bit with it and gone down the ‘historic all-women’s show’ angle instead.

And as someone has already said here - Sky will pull out all the scope to magic up a huge audience too.

Sky can afford to pay them what they are asking without putting it on PPV and get more eyeballs on it in the process.putting it on PPV would dramatically affect the viewing figures I’d imagine.

Controversial but I'd give Shields one I reckon.

That's good. When I seen chief support fight I fought it would be PPV.

That's was the original plan. Shalom said so on talksport after Clarissa fought here before.

I think the Taylor v Serrano fight may have shown sky that they can generate huge interest in this fight as well as pop a huge rating without taking a risk of ppv.
