I don't really no anyone on his record. Does he have any key fights that standout as good wins? Just wondering but why is his record for DJs (haha love it) and den the likes of Kell Brook was ridiculed for having nobody of note on his record till he beat porter. It looks to me that he has only fought Japanese fighters

The Oguni win was his "break out" win and the one that first got him some attention. Going in to that Wake was going no where with his career whilst Oguni was being tipped as a fast riser on his way to the top. It was that win that seemed to finally see everything click in place. I'd go with the Oguni and Tawatchai fights as his best, though the Paypa fight ended with a great shot and he did knock Lee out of the ring at one point.

Since the Oguni fight he has beaten a couple of Pinoy's (Aligarbes, Paypa) a Korean (Lee) and a Thai (Tawatchai). Showing his improvement since his early days. Also he holds a CRIMINALLY under-rated win over Baat (who himself holds 2 wins against the WBC #1 ranked Super Bantamweight).

All records are for DJ's, who'd have thought that Buckland and Saunder's would have lost this past weekend? Records only tell a tiny bit of the story of a fighter who can improve (as with Wake) or can regress. He was 10-4-2 a few years back and 3-2-1 at one point and has improved indefinitely from those bouts. Similarly Hasegawa and Nishioka picked up a few set backs early in their careers before solid reigns.

Rigo badly hurt? are you kidding now you find another pretender for Rigo I think you have a rare obsession with Rigo, you have been very quiet after the recent demolition of James.

Jazza was a garbage opponent, the match shouldn't have even been sanctioned, anyone in their right mind would have never even considered giving him a chance at an upset.

I've been saying for quite some time, Guzman or Wake would both beat Rigo, they just had a FOTY candidate this morning, and the amount of punishment both men took, they'd walk right through that hideous little gremlin.

Yeah, can't discredit his effort. He was coming on VERY strong (despite being half blind) when the ref assessed the facial damage too bad to continue.

****ens was really ****ty, and seemed scared as well. I agree. I'd have rather Frank War ren matched him with Tete.

As far as Guzman. Rigondeaux would beat the sh!t out of him. Guzman's resume is similar to Wilder's. All cans and one solid fighter. He has okay power but is the face first, no defense having type of guy, that would end up being a nice showcase fight for Rigondeaux. Guzman also swells easily, from guys who aren't as sharp a puncher as Rigs. Rigondeaux stops him inside the distance, if no KO or broken bone, then it will be stopped due to pumpkin face.

Big fan of Tete here, too :good

Inoue is a classy fighter, but the Last Born is a beast of a bantamweight.
