Congrats, mate! Sounds like a good growth opportunity.

If you ever move out to LA and find yourself suddenly stricken with a burning desire to enter the financial services industry give me a shout via PM! You seem like a bright guy and we're always looking for people from non traditional backgrounds for portfolio operations management and BD roles. Plus it would be nice to have someone in the office to chat boxing with.

Corley should start training and fighting in Thailand, he could have a career renaissance as Chop Chop CP Freshmart Kokietgym.:yep

His custom sneaker business would really take off. They love them some entrepreneurial spirit over there - even more than in the good old US of A!!

    Cheers! :good

My pop lived in Hollywood for a spell (he's an indie filmmaker with a cult following, he did "Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" and "Trail of the Screaming Forehead") but he couldn't hack the rent out there.

Its probably only a matter of time before they start tattooing barcodes on their fighters necks, a la Henry Rollins.

My name is all over the credits of that one, actually. (in fact, it ought to be even more so but isn't due to union arrangements)

I was the prop master, line producer (that is, script continuity supervisor), was almost the voice of the Skeleton, but my dad's ego got in the way even though everybody on set liked my delivery better :yep, I was the "skeleton wrangler"/puppeteer, and it was me in the giant foam rubber mutant suit in a majority of scenes featuring the mutant. That guy Darrin happens to be in SAG/AFTRA, and so he gets the "official" credit even though I played the mutant in more scenes than him.

His only scenes were the ones carrying Betty, and the Skeleton vs. Mutant fight.

It was me in the suit for the Mutant vs. Paul Armstrong fight (and pretty much every other scene not mention above), which means I got to kick my dad's ass. 8)

Yeah I know I just got back from checking on IMDB. I need to rewatch it, its been about 13 or 14 years since I saw it. If your voice was anywhere close to what it sounds like in your TKO6 vid, you should have been. Your dad should have kept it up I love 50's movie I think there should be more throwback films, only done very seriously. Although IIRC the tone was pretty legit it only veered into overt kitschyness occasionally.

Just to bring you up to speed: this happened yesterday morning, but wasn't televised live. There was a false report that it would be televised on tape-delay yesterday afternoon (that is, our time in the US) but it turned out the Asian boxing correspondent that gave that report had misread TBS' broadcast calendar, as they are in fact showing it on tape delay now - 1½ days later. :good
