    That was a pretty bad head butt Wake took in the first. The first knockdown was bull****. The second one was simply a glove touching the canvas. People were acting like Guzman's wild ars was dropping him hard or something

    These are some of the weakest knockdowns I've ever seen, one looked like he got muffed, the other Wake's fluky self just touched the canvas with his glove for a split second, and the third was a cuff down.

    I don't see anything here, but Rigo food.

    Wake showed guts this morning, but what's his best W? Or, besides today, even one stellar performance against somebody that was top world rated?

    Honestly it boggles the mind how one could see him even being competitive with Rigondeaux, let alone favoring him. Guzmán didn't exactly have the look of a polished elite in there himself, so performing admirably in a loss to him doesn't spell out much success versus a top 15 p4p boxer, IMO. :conf

    Some of you Rigs haters have weird definitions of things. He wasn't out on his feet against Amagasa. He took a shot right on the chin and went down. Then he was thrown down afterward. It's from the same school of guys who claim Rigs got dropped by a jab from Cordoba, when in actuality, his glove barely touched the canvas.

    5′ 10½″ / 71½″, though... and has as many kayos as Wake has career bouts (and higher KO %).

    Their credentials and physical attributes read pretty similarly, to be honest - both tall, long, tough guys with middling pop and both Oriental & Pacific champs with several defenses - but Amagasa, being the naturally bigger man, a division up.

    ...and Rigo bounced right up and shook that off and dominated the rest of the contest.

    Yeah I know that, but Rigo is damn lucky the bell rang when it did, he was badly hurt before the second KD. Rigo is chinless, face it. the first guy with legit power that lands flush, he might not be so lucky. And no Donaire didn't land flush enough.
