If we imagine they will meet for a world title in Bantamweight both in their primes.

    Your choice will be ?

Put "Earnie Shavers" in the title and you will probably get more responses.

That is a really interesting one, a classic boxer vs puncher, i went with yamanaka as i think he would be able to land more consistantly while staying safe but he would be in danger the entire fight and galaxy would never stop coming, so it's a really tough choice for me

Same Yamanaka have a good style but clearly Khaokor is a true machine.

Yamanaka always reminded me of Hozumi Hasegawa. Traditionally well schooled, good defensive positioning, machine gun hand speed, quick on his feet with good pop. Unlike Hasegawa, he didn't really have as good of a jab, and he found himself mistiming his cross a lot against southpaws like Darchinyan, Nery and Moreno. He often got a little skittish when pressured too. I think Khaokar would have box like his brother more in this one, ala the Vazquez fight. Moving in with cross counters to the body, short little shovel hooks and uppercuts, but more importantly, making the ring smaller for Yamanaka. At some point, Galaxy is going to land, and I don't think it'd take all night for him to land too much.

It'd be a very interesting watch, though.

thanks for your analysis. I agree that Yamanaka doesn't have a good jab like Hasegawa. But Yamanaka has more power in the gloves. Against Khaokor it would have been a great match.
