    They are that. :good

Neither featured a typical highlight reel kayo (accumulation jobs and body hits generally don't make the cut, with rare exceptions) and neither featured big shifts in momentum per se - at least not reflected in points - but they were well worth waking up early for and still worth watching with foreknowledge of the outcome. (as I unfortunately had in the co-feature, a few minutes before the end actually came)

One a come-from-behind (on my card) stoppage in which the gallant and clever fox was caught by the hounds, and the other capping off a relatively one-sided (again, on my card, but I would imagine on anyone else's...) performance that still managed to feel dramatic in spite of Jamoye clearly lacking a punch to bother Yamanaka, let alone pull off a Hail Mary pass...likely because Jamoye was just so goddammit courageous and persistent and not only seemed like he should have been finished long before he was, but actually managed a few rallies of clean effective punching all throughout in between spots of trouble.

Kiko is on a good run. He could fight again before the mandatory defense against the winner of Avalos-Ishimoto.

Frampton's fans are still butthurt crying for his rematch.

Damn do they even give you 3 warnings in Japan before taking a point away? The Kiko-Hasegawa fight looks to be a gem, a must see. Martinez is on a roll man.

So I take it that Kiko Martinez vs. Hozumi Hasegawa was an early contender for FOTY????
