No he did not. He did what is called a shutout, winning 12 rounds to love, 36 minutes to zero, 2160 second to 0. He did it with limiting the entire arsenal of unbeaten Kevin Johnson who looked good vs. former amateur standout Delvin Vargas, and rolled with punches beautifully to avoid getting knocked out, but that's about all he was allowed to do. Or at least that's what allowed himself, because Vitali Klitschko has superb punch estimation, and the more you open up, the more you get beat, just ask Chris Arreola.

"Vitali looked ****" - Are you kidding me? Exactly which second did he lose?

"But he'd lose to Haye because fast, mobile guys gives Vitali problems" - now that's nonsense. Exactly what problem are the critics referring to? When was ever Vitali Klitschko was in danger to lose a minute of 36?

    - David Haye doesn't have tight defense and doesn't roll with punches the way the defensively very highly skilled but no offense Kevin Johnson. If Johnson opened up, he would have got tagged, so he didn't open up, and lost a shutout. If Haye tries to roll with punches on the ropes vs. Vitali, he will roll out under the ropes
    - David Haye has stamina, chin and balance problems, and if he wants to win, he'll have to win at least 7 rounds or open up like crazy to catch a rather busy Vitali who has nice timing, good handspeed (still) and superb countering skills. Opening up on him and using offense as defense Haye's only chance, and that favors Vitali even more. You can't counterpunch a better counterpuncher, however Vitali can still counterpunch you 12 rounds to 1.

I don't see exactly HOW would Haye win 7 rounds or land a KO shot on Vitali who has never been down as a pro.
