    Great performance from Ward so far. That said let's not go into hyperbole just yet.

    I think Ward's the best of the young American fighters from 160-175. He seems to have the mental focus JT is lacking and applies consistent pressure in a way Dawson doesn't. Seems better than Dirrell too.

    This is something to behold! Ward smothers him the entire round and outmuscles Miranda. He uses his elbow to push Miranda back against the ropes and then throws uppercuts and body shots. It's obvious he's doing exactly what he wants with Miranda. Beautiful stuff!

    Ward and Miranda have a muscle fight now as the round begins. Miranda is taking punches as both guys are fighting inside. Ward throws a hook to the body on the inside as we get some rough house tactics. Rough stuff with Ward showing a lot of toughness. Miranda can't fight off his back. If he has no leverage he's cooked. Ward and Miranda going at it in the proverbial phonebooth as the two of them are just letting them go inside. Ward holding and hitting a bit as the two of them choose to just stand there back to back and battle. Miranda throws some uppercuts but nothing too good. Ward tries to throw Miranda over the top rope on a break. "The Pantera is getting tamed here." Interesting to see Edison Miranda get a bit of a dose of his own medicine this round. Round ends.

    Ward round. At this point it's a lot to a little and not worth keeping track of.

    great work on the inside to take whats left away
