Is Centano any good? I'm just getting back from taking my wife to work.

Round 4: Centeno decides to stay on the outside, moving side to side and jabbing away at Bruce. Bruce connects with a combo to the body, but doesn't do much else, and loses another round as a result.

    40-36 Centeno

Bruce needs to unload with more of those overhand rights. Centeno has slowed down a bit now, and isn't maintaining his range like he was earlier. Bruce can catch him if he tries.

Good combos, decent power, huge for the weight and the patented Mexican left hook to the body.

**** looks like he might be a top contender in a year or 2.

    Hell yeah!

Tommy Hearns, Alexis Arguello, MW Kelly Pavlik and many more.

Dude can use that height and keep distance to make it real hard for anybody to have a go at him :yep

Round 5: Centeno fighting tall now, and circling around exclusively, Bruce moving forward, getting closer and actually throwing punches, but not really connecting with any more than a punch at a time, while Centeno still lands his combos. Not as much on them, but still enough to take the round.

Well, earlier on he done really well with:

    • Maintaining the range - moving away from punches
    • Launching and landing some nice long punches with decent power. Great leverage.
    • Good punch variety - uppercuts, jabs, hooks, straight rights. All of them thrown with good accuracy.
But he doesn't appear to be that quick. And has slowed down considerably after the 3rd/4th. He's also very open to overhand rights. He was also looking as good as he was because he's dealing with a much shorter opponent who happens to be very inactive.

Gutted I missed the Groves fight! I thought it'd be on later tonight, so I watched ****ing Storage Wars instead

Glad to see he was in another good fight and picked up a good win though. He has a lot of potential but needs to be more active.

Round 6: Like Tomkins said, "more of same". Centeno moves and boxes, working the jab and skipping out of range whenever Bruce moves into range. Outlanding Bruce two to one, still. Crowd getting restless, not because the fight is BAD, but more because it's the same thing over and over again.

The ending was brilliant. He landed four solid powershots in a row to put him down, and then when fight resumed, he immediately lands a monstrous right . Good showing infront of the Americans. A pity it didn't happen on the undercard of a more notable fight.

Overhand right is startign to get in there alot more. He needs to learn a bit better defense and also work on that right hand of his. He learns to sit on that thing and he can generate so much power with his build.
