Its only been like this for 9 months and i doubt it goes on much longer. it will end this year and fighters have to push for it or if they dont HBO/Showtime will stay like that

 

It'll probably take a number of purse bid fights to make it happen, but there are too many competing interests to let it stay that way forever.

Either that or everybody signs with Golden boy, putting both Top Rank and HBO boxing out of business unless they play ball.

Did you hear Bradley's interview on thaboxingvoice, he said if Mayweather is his own boss then he has the power to make the fights.

 

GB started it when their lawyer took over Showtime boxing, they moved their prospects in Avlarez & Broner who HBO had been building to Showtime and then GB counter programmed against the Martinez-Chavez ppv.

GB's home network is Showtime, Showtime is HBO's top competitor. The cold war will remain until Espinoza is no longer head of Showtime sports. Hershman said they are open to using GB fighters, but they will not buy promotions from GB.
