Muñoz is going for Lopez's head frantically with both hands at point blank, and Lopez is using some very nice movement to roll under everything, taking a few bouncing off the nape, working double left hooks up top as he straightens. Lopez countering very well as he keeps Muñoz spinning like a dial. Muñoz is charging ahead, pushing his jab out into the air, telegraphing a lead uppercut in mid-jaunt. Lopez is using the full ring, caroming off the ropes, keeping his face well clear of Muñoz's range, countering lightly.

Round 3

Muñoz is lunging in with a double jab, off-balance, reaching blindly and shifting too much of his weight forward on the ball of his lead foot, then hurling in a right hand without a prayer of landing it. Lopez is leading him by the nose, jogging in diagonals and tossing light jabs in the face. Lopez throws straight combos, just enough to bait Muñoz into stepping in to punch with him, and then fading with quick steps, causing Muñoz to lunge and get into a bad position again.

40-36 Lopez, but he's falling into a pattern disturbingly heavy on the jab-and-grab. Muñoz isn't doing much when he leans in except lay on him and oblige the grind, however.
