Collado is chopping at Salka with the right hand and nearly pushes him down while Salka is bent over. Double jabs pawed out weakly by Collado, Salka countering him with a right hand. Salka is warned for holding. Overhand right by Salka from outside, cricking his neck to trap a lazy Collado jab. Collado curls his arm around Salka's head and is told to let him go. Collado is whipping in low body shots, very wide and slow pendulums. Salka moves outside and crouches back to spring-load a right hand on the jaw. Flurry into the face by Salka to momentarily back Collado off. Salka hops out and leaves the jab up in the air for Collado to walk onto. Right hand by Collado pressing forward, countered by an even HARDER right hand from Salka, rocking Collado backward. Clinch. Body shots by Salka. Collado jabs and scrapes at Salka's face with the right. Salka has a cut on the left cheek. They flurry until the bell up close, both exhausted.

Collado tried in round 10 (in earnest, for the first time all night) but was knackered and incredibly sloppy and honestly got hurt seriously from a few of Salka's counters and would've been KTFO if Salka had a lick of power.

96-94? So factoring in the automatic 10-8 for the KD, that means Phil Rogers had it 5-4-1 to Salka in rounds.

I don't see where you can find half of those rounds in which to give Collado a share.

 

If this was my first time seeing Collado having never heard of him, I wouldn't guess he was a decorated amateur or anybody's idea of a prospect.

His style, in the pros, at the step-up level, is ass.

 

That's what they showed on the graphic, anyway. :conf

Most of what they're calling "landed" for Collado though, were more like the way a drunk "lands" his grimy spit-shine rag on your windshield as you stop at the red light.

About 5% of what's listed for him were anything like clean blows with the knuckle pads.

His "jabs" were more like gentle paintbrushes; he might not have thrown one straight all night.
