Damn, Santana has almost double Lundy's amateur experience. (though 120 bouts still isn't a lot for a Cuban; and Farhood points out he was never an elite Cuban amateur with very few international assignments)

Is it just me or Hank Lundy is smoother, more slicker and is not flat flooted like Broner???

    Round 1

Lundy is circling to his left and placing his jab, measuring with it. Santana looks to time him with the right jab stepping in behind a high tight guard, very stiff. Lundy is jabbing into the forearms of Santana, flinching back when Santana shows the left cross. Left on the body by Santana. Flurry by Santana pushing Lundy into the ropes. Lundy spins away, scoring a right hand and left hook. Left hand on the body lunging in on bent lead knee by Santana.

    10-9 Lundy, close

I agree with all that. I'm not sure he couldn't defeat Broner, assuming it was a "Lundy feels like showing up" night.

Close first round...I think Santana landed cleaner and I'll give him the stanza as a result.
