    Refs were with me.

Avalos was out boxed and most of his worked blocked by Romero who returned with nice hard, crisp counters.

If there are punch stats they would show Romero landed more, with greater accuracy and did more damage.

Lol, I think it could've went either way but 96-93 for Romero was BS, Romero did not win 7 rounds.

    Well...

    They'd show this

    but not this
(punch stats don't show damage :D)

Yeah 96-94 was the right score IMO.

I also think that Romero won the fight. He put on a better display of boxing, made Avalos miss a great deal, did great work off the ropes, and landed some really impressively timed counter punches... things judges pay attention to when scoring a fight.

Announcers were far too pro-Avalos. Close fight. Could have gone either way. Not even close to a robbery. Neither guy is going anywhere.

Avalos has a hell of a chin, but lets be real there are only two rounds where he hurt Romero and atleast in the 8th Romero was able to come on later and punish him after he failed to take him out.

I do think Romero actually landed the harder individual punches.

I think Avalos just has the overall heavier hands, so even his clubbing shots were able to buzz Romero more than the FLUSH, hard straight rights and uppercuts that Romero was often drilling Avalos with.

Avalos just has a crazy chin.

Romero has a good chin too, and heart to have stood up to Avalos' pressure all the way - but Avalos' chin is just insane. Romero should have scored kayos like eight times tonight with some of those right hands.

Yeah I meant in addition to what your eyes already showed you (that Romero landed the harder shots).

I like how Farhood and the other guy were saying that Romero needed a KO in the last round but looked for ways to justify his win.

I agree on the accuracy but not on damage, Avalos did hurt Romero at least twice and scored a knockdown.
