    Romero displayed some brilliant upper body movement. His lead hooks and right uppercuts, and counter right straights were landing at will.

    A 95-94 win either way would have been a perfect score, I had it 95-94 for Avalos.

    Like I tried to explain a couple posts back, I think Romero turned his shots over better and landed flusher (so they were the technically harder shots) while Avalos is much heavier handed and more powerful, so even his arm punches/blocked & clubbing shots do as much damage as Romero's well-executed bombs. It all sort of evens out in the end.

    So if you instead look at work rate and accuracy - yeah, Romero tipped those categories...

    Defense, accuracy, clean punching won Romero the majority of rounds in my opinion. I can't see the rounds you guys gave to Avalos, but I see how you might come to the scoring now that I know your criteria.

    So if you didn't like their scores, don't root for this to go the distance or else you might be in for more vexation. :yep (it probably won't anyway)

    RSJ has a couple of good recent wins (Miranda KTFO, and Demers KTFO). He is deservedly ranked based on them...but yeah, this is kind of a gimme eliminator for a guy as green and untested as AD.
