Smith collides with Baranchyk and reaches up for some rabbit punches on the far side from the refs field of vision. 1-2 by Smith after they separate. Lots of clinching as Baranchyk overcommits with wild punches. Smith is landing combos on the outside dancing laterally. Baranchyk loops a couple of rights into the shoulder, knocking Smith off balance as he runs but not scoring cleanly. Baranchyk barrels into Smith and almost accidentally connects with a blind left hook. Smith is sat on the ropes momentarily and without them would've gone down. Follow up haymakers from Baranchyk.

Watching him tonight for the first time you'd think Baranchyk had never set foot in a boxing gym. Kid's gone full Neanderthal.

 

Round 3

Baranchyk is throwing KO punches from the hip, generating fat powerful hooks...and missing. Straight rocketing up from a crouch are no more successful, whizzing past Smith's shoulders. Smith is countering lightly with right jabs and then dropping a level to hug Baranchyk around the waist. Smith keeps jabbing, diving and holding; throwing a wet blanket over Baranchyk.
