Was that a body shot knock down? Turned my head back to the screen right as he was going down..

    Round 3

Uppercut early in the round has Santiago lifted up slightly and then dumped on his butt. He grins sheepishly while rising. Morales jumps on him, hacking away. Santiago gets a left jab in that turns Morales' face and buys him some times to get off the ropes. Now Santiago comes forward. Morales backs all the way into a corner and then rubberbands a right hand into the body. Morales switches southpaw and throws some right upper-hooks at medium range while circling. Santiago comes forward, chopping with overhand rights and lefts. Santiago seems to be of the mind that pressuring and being aggressive is his best defense to avoid another knockdown. He might...not be correct. Morales is landing pretty well, still, out of either stance and switching frequently without any consequence. Morales slips the jabs of Santiago easily, taunting him from just out of reach. Right to the body by Morales.

    10-8 Morales

    30-26 Morales

I thought he was going down before a punch landed.

Maybe Santiago is ignoring Mamba's advice because they had a falling out?

Like, maybe Santiago hit him with a lamp and Roger choked him out? :think

    Round 4

Morales comes forward and works the body out of the southpaw stance. Santiago is throwing wild shots up and down, going for the head but mostly not quite finding it as Morales leans in and does his work before getting out. Morales is eating the odd punch as he comes forward but once inside he's working the body with his head hung down to either side out of the danger zone.

Nice fight, but Morales is just a bit better than Santiago.

Morales does get far too often, but he's still young, that can improve.

40-35. One sided in terms of score, but a lot of fun. 35 to 28 edge connect in Round 4 alone. Damn...
