:good For some reason FNF is a lot more popular, but yeah, ShoBox is often better. (and has an unfair reputation for frequently showcasing mismatches, when FNF does so every bit as often...)

If only Hovhannisyan had the two guard blocking style, it'd be pretty much the same.

The round 7 ring card girl was hittable, too, but round 8 was mediocre at best.

What weight is this fight at? I like Morales' offensive skills.

Probably because is earlier......many people watch two hours of boxing on FNF and generally are done already.....

    Round 8

Quick jabs by Morales. 1-2. Santiago is making it messy, clinging to Morales after jabbing inside. Morales hops to his left and throws right hooks out of the southpaw stance. Morales gets walked back to the ropes and throws a high left hook from the hip after a quick switch. Combos into the guard by Morales, arm punches. Santiago jumps in place and then toward Morales, intending to punch on the way but having to quickly raise his arms as Morales snaps a jab up. Wide slow weak shots by Santiago, vaguely aiming for Morales' body. Ten second clap, and both guys dig deep to pick up the pace. Santiago loops a right into Morales' chin. Headbutt.

    10-9 Morales

    79-72 Morales

    Super bantam.

This is a common opponent for him with fellow unbeaten prospect and intrastate rival Randy Caballero.

Caballero beat Santiago by UD, 80-72, 80-72, and 79-73.

    So, it's a wash. :conf

Nice win Morales. Decent but flawed prospect. Shutout

The only problem with Morales is he is wide open for counters.
