You wait until his worst round (first lost) to break into the battle cry?

Duran like a lot of African/Ghana fighters has that nice powerful jab, and is really powerful, but doesn't throw enough. Gonzales working on the outside, just throwing. Could be an easy fight if he just stays on the outside and just throws.

Gonzalez is outlanding Duran at least 3 to 1 here. I understand the school of thought that scores for the biggest punch of the round, I just think Gonzalez is busier and landing more.

    30-27 Gonzalez.

    Round 3

Actually gave that round to Gonzales, he started to throw nicely and spin out and then I thought he was able to outwork Duran on the inside. Duran is starting to establish a sense of space and and change the pace of the fight.

    2 -1 Duran

Gonzales has terrible defense...he eats so many jabs and most of the power shots. Duran just lands the bigger, heavier and cleaner shots.

    Round 4

Gonzales jabs and moves, leaning back on the outside and letting his defense relax. He PAYS! Duran lands a few very stiff jabs lunging in at Gonzales's face and makes him blink. Gonzales starts to throw an uppercut and Duran counters hard with a flush left hook to the chin!!!! Gonzales tries to jab up high while sliding his feet back and set up combos while briefly planting his feet. Duran clobbers him with a long right hand. Duran now lands the jab firmly coming forward. Whipping overhand right by Duran. Gonzales is chased across the ring, and lands a left jab to the body while ducking down but takes a glancing right hand. Exchange at the bell.

    10-9 Duran

    39-37 Duran

Big Duran round. Big eye catching shots. Big left hook, and a right hand. Really effecting Gonzales.

    He needs a haircut.

Close round, I'll go with Duran there but its close. Gonzalez's workrate dropped off a bit there.

    39-36 Gonzalez.

    Round 4

Nice bounce back round for Duran, again I think in this round he landed the harder cleaner punches and pushed the action this round, while Gonzales was mainly ineffective.

    3 -1 Duran

    Round 5

Vicious trading toe to toe once they resume action after pausing twenty seconds in to have Duran's hair clipped/tied in the corner. Gonzales grows weary of the close combat and glides out behind his jab again. Duran stabs with his own. Duran tries to slip the Gonzales jab while swaying side to side coming forward and flips up his own. Gonzales lands a couple and Duran juts out his bottom lip and shakes his head. Clubbing overhand right by Duran. Uppercut by Duran as they come together in a brief clinch, quickly broken. Gonzales jabs and moves, and tries to swipe a left hook at the hip but Duran hammers him with a right and a left. Again Gonzales throws and misses an ill-advised wide hook to the body that leaves him open. Duran hunts with the jab, just tickling Gonzales with it. Gonzales jabs into the guard of Duran and is knocked back by a right hand. FLUSH left hook by Duran.

    10-9 Duran

    49-46 Duran
