I always thought Pacquiao would be terrible at poker. He's a fidgety, idiosyncratic guy. Loads of tells.

    Round 1 Norman 10-9
    Round 2 Norman 10-9
    Round 3 Rodriguez 10-9, close

Close back and forth action, both men landing about the same, but Flavio tagged him with three or four hard clean rights to edge it.

Norman looks more flash than substance so far, nice pop and athleticism but he doesn't have the reflexes to keep his hands down the way he does.

Still has a lot of time to improve at 19 though

    Round 3

Rodríguez tosses out some quick jabs and walks through Norman's straight combos and fast wide sweeping fade-away hooks. Rodríguez stuffs a short overhand right up and past the guard and stuns Norman slightly. Norman recovers and begins to bounce around on his toes and pepper Rodríguez with quick jabs and combinations. Rodríguez has reverted to mostly just operating an invisible gym rowing machine with his "I'm coming for ya, punk! :ggg/ oops, never mind, I've lost my gumption" jab.

10-9 Norman - again close, or at least parts were.

    30-27 Norman

    Round 3 Rodriguez 10-9, close
    Round 4 Rodriguez 10-9, close

Flavio has got his timing down now and is tagging him with regularity as he lunges in with his rights, Flavio is catching many of his punches on his gloves.

Rodríguez has that Rocky Juárez syndrome. (a good fighter when coasting on auto-pilot, which is always, but could be VERY good if you could imbue him with intense hunger and kamikaze instincts)

I want to give Rodríguez a round but feel like Norman still just edged him in the last two. 40-36, but there's another entire half left, maybe we're in luck and Norman's gas tank (and/or heart once pushed to deep waters) is shit. :D

Farhood, Raul M., and Tompkins all have it 39-37 Norman, all scoring R3 for Rodríguez.

That left hook on the body and right uppercut landing diagonally across the jaw was an ugly combo for Rodríguez, but effective. It shut down Norman and froze all motor functions except "retreat" for a good ten seconds.

    10-9 Rodríguez, super close, a micro-grain away from balanced 10-10 scales. :sisi1

    49-46 Norman
