Rodríguez spent too much of the sixth just beached against the ropes, letting Norman flurry sloppily into his guard.

Norman with very little getting through prettily or flush, but taking it on work rate.

Norman dives in low, missing a high whistler of a right, and he springs upward just as Rodríguez came pressing in jabbing past his face, and their heads slam together, compounded by the opposing direction of motion with Norman's rising and Rodríguez's descending. Round 7 halted due to both getting badly hurt by the butt. Rodríguez is cut, and that... yes, that's a fight-ender. Going to a TD.

 

So we score the partial seventh, even though it didn't even last half a minute? I always found that rule silly. At least half the interrupted round should be completed for it to count on the scorecards, IMO - so under ninety seconds, throw it out, just count the preceding rounds.

Barely enough happened on which to even base a 10-9 for either guy.

Apparently it went 57 seconds, felt like a bit less, but...idk, my point stands. That might also include about ten seconds from the actual head clash until the ref called time (at which point the ringside timekeeper should have paused the clock until they either resumed, or in this case, the physician deemed it over)
