Why the hate for Miss Shields? She is a trendsetter and only represents the evolution of women's boxing. She is setting the standard for the young female fighters that will follow her. Not unlike men's boxing which also had it's trendsetters. She showed excellent technique in that fight and I dare say that her delivery and punch selection was better than a lot of so called men professionals. I can understand some of the unwarranted criticism because gents feel like women are encroaching on sacred ground but boxing done right by whomever is still a pleasure to watch.

 

Shields likes the fact that Dirrell's Uncle hit his opponent after the fight while not looking, yes, in his corner. I can never have any respect for a person like that. I don't like women's boxing anyway, they are trying to make her a huge star like Ali, well, it won't work.................nobody wants to see such a person, so ugly on the inside, a very cruel person believing that Dirrell's uncle should have hit a boxer after the fight while not even looking, against the law........Dirrell has already cheated, pretending to be hurt when he was not................the ref telling him to stay down and he would call the fight a win for him. Dirrell was beaten. Thinking as she does is evil..........

 

This is the best Clarrissa has looked as a pro. More solid defensively, sitting down on her punches more. She can't worry about the level of competition, just keep dominating.

 

Clarissa made that girl look like she picked up boxing last month.

 

Not going to lie. I root for Shields, but women boxing is awful, boring as hell. I highly doubt it will ever gain the popularity women's mma has.
