    Why does Antwone Smith have to be on TV again? No pop, one punch at a time and relentless barker. Worse yet he's pretty durable so the fight is likely to go the distance.

    Wilder fight should be interesting, wonder if he'll actually be hit today.

    How do you see the fight playing out?

    I think Smith is a very skilled operator, but one of those always does just enough to lose guys.

    Yeah but Charlo is nice to watch and should carry more than his share of the load to make it fun. (I hope)

    I'm just pissed Gary Russell Jr. vs. Juan Ruiz didn't make the broadcast.

    Ruiz despite his record is a tough out for anybody. He makes you work every minute and has the p4p best chin in the sport. Contrary to what many Boxrec scholars inferred from their perfunctory snap judgment, Ruiz is no step down for Russell - in fact he's considerably more challenging than Gusev.

    I don't give a ****. The guy has lost 9 OF HIS LAST 10 FIghts. "Boxrec'ing" or not, it's absurd for a prospect to be fighting the comp level he's been facing. Especially when the Gusev's of the world were the prior guys. No goddamn way should garbage like that be televised.

    Ruiz is just a punching bag, heard the fight was utter crap. Russell slapping his way sparring style to a boring one sided victory.

    Charlo has to carry Smith. Smith is a slow paced bore, Charlo is a huge favorite and the onus is on him to push the pace. If he doesn't its going to be a painful 10 rounds.

    Yeah. I actually scored it for him over Cintron, but at the same time could see why he got no love from the judges. When you bark with overstated exertion and grunt with mock impact every time you throw even when it's often blatantly obvious by the laws of physics you haven't landed - you're going to be painted with a "boy who cried wolf" brush.

    ...and Smith cries wolf pretty much from bell to bell.
