They should keep moving him slow. Hopefully Wilder is getting good work and sparring in the gym. He damn sure isn't getting it in his fights. He still needs a hell of a lot of work, but he is better now than he was a couple years ago. He needs major defensive work. Right now his offense is his defense. His footwork needs a bit of work still also.

Wilder would beat the **** out of Fury. Stieverne is the one they should keep him away from right now.

Hard not to be happy about the results, but this still isn't going to prepare Deontay for the tougher fights he'll have as he works his way up the heavyweight food chain. I'd like to see him move up to a Glazkov or Arreola level fighter next.

True, they need to put him in with someone who isn't going to
go anywhere no matter what he gets hit with. Tyson came up
against some cannon fodder, but they threw him in with a few
    solid journeymen as well.

White Wolf was supposed to be that solid journeyman. And you can tell Wilder was really taking his time with him. It wasn't til he hit him with a solid jab, and caught him with that right hand til he said "Fcuk it" and finished the fight.

It was a quick fight, but you really can't blame the match-making in this one. It was supposed to be a clear step up.

so you want a guy who will beat him? Or a guy who will give him a tough, but not too tough a fight?

Who is in between Audley Harrison and Glazkov? White Wolf?

Liakhovich had never been stopped before 9. Shouldn't he have given Wilder some needed rounds?

Or should he skip everybody, skip the Glazkovs, the Arreolas, and go straight to Wlad?

If Seth Mitchell somehow beats Arreola and they put Mitchell in with Wilder ill put money on it if they had it for Mitchell to die in the ring

I think a Dominick Guinn or Fres Oquendo could provide the missing link between where he is now and being ready for a Glazkov or Arreola.

He needs a moderately skilled hardy veteran like them, who can actually hang around for a while and can show him some tricks but who isn't terribly dangerous. (not that Guinn couldn't be dangerous if he let rip, but if he didn't versus Adamek or the countless other times he could & should have it ain't never happening...)
