Ndongeni is getting buzzed on the hairline with jabs and leaning awkwardly to one side to lay in body shots. Haney is jabbing at the head and drilling rights into the breadbasket from outside. Ndongeni keeps moving along the ropes and countering downstairs when he can but Haney is putting the pressure on him. Ndongeni manages to stave him off with a couple of well-dug jabs on the navel, then swings a high right hand, a pretense & prelude to a clinch around the neck. Spoiling by Ndongeni, making Haney miss lunging jabs while crouching outside.

Round 4

Ndongeni slashes at the body with left hooks and lands up top with right hands as he ambushes Haney, surging off the ropes or up from a crouch, but every time he does so Haney also clops down on him with a heavy right hand and his own swift left hook in combination. Haney landing a lot on the crown, and some behind the head, but this is all due to Ndongeni ducking in and cheating his body around when throwing downstairs or using his awkward movement to slip punches.

Round 5

Ndongeni is ducking the Haney double jab but coming up in the path of the follow-up straight right, stung mildly by it. Ndongeni grins as he circles into the ropes and lays a trap for Haney, exchanging with him and scoring a hook but getting dusted by a combination as well. Haney loading up on big arcing right hands, ducked & dodged by Ndongeni. They swap huge body shots, and Ndongeni scurries away, hurt by a Haney shoveling blow into his ribs. Haney falls in atop Ndongeni, wrestling him onto the ropes. Some infighting. Uppercut by Haney. Ndongeni wobbled against the ropes as Haney digs some hard body shots. Huge clubbing right against the side of the neck by Haney. Ndongeni pumping a stiff double jab as he skates along the ropes, surviving.
