    Good round. I liked Magdaleno there, though Perez was landing some nice shots to the body.

    Magdaleno throws right hooks and blocks easily. Magdaleno is looking very sharp while Perez seems to be falling apart a bit. Perez is getting tagged from long range and pushed back now, into the ropes. Magdaleno dodges a chopping jab. They flurry together and cancel each other out with a blur of arms. Magdaleno is digging body shots, then ducking and dodging to either side. Perez flips out low shots and tries to hammer around up top but can't find Magdaleno.

    Robert Byrd is doing a terrible job judging low blows and body shots. Perez needs to knock this guy out.

    Perez pokes with his jab, circling with Magdaleno. Perez is taking more steps, shorter and less evenly spaced. Magdaleno looks much calmer now. Perez whips a hard uppercut coming forward. Lead left to the body by Magdaleno. Looping right hand by Perez, and Magdaleno tags him with a hooking counter combination to the face. Magdaleno jabs Perez in the head and then misses a follow-up combo as Perez ducks. Magdaleno lands a straight left hand lead as Perez is rising from his duck. Body shots are traded back and forth, Magdaleno's quicker and sharper. Perez circles close and jabs. Body shots reaching by Perez, just tapping. Arm punches. Magdaleno is looking to line up his left hand to land it powerfully on Perez's chin.
