    Round 7

Perez fires hard right hands, and drops some body shots. Magdaleno is tagged with a flush right hand while circling. Magdaleno pops his right jab, taking full stock of Perez and not taking any chances. Left uppercut by Magdaleno falls a bit short. Perez circles off to the right and stays outside of flurrying range. Hard right jabs by Magdaleno are blocked. Perez blocks a 1-2 but then takes a third shot, a straight right jab, flush on the forehead and winds up with his face pointed up at the ceiling. Perez is winging hard uppercuts coming in. HARD southpaw 1-2 counter to the face by Magdaleno. Another one. Left uppercut driving in by Magdaleno. Right hook to the body by Magdaleno. Lots of movement by Magdaleno, but never straying too far. Perez is all forward motion, and trying his best to block but getting pasted. Right upper-hook by Magdaleno, sneaks through Perez's gloves.

    10-9 Magdaleno

    67-64

Magdaleno seems to have taken over now. Perez will need a ko to win tonight.

Agreed, Magdaleno pretty much looks like he's in another class at this point

Jason Litzau would be an interesting opponent for Magdaleno.

I'd take Magdaleno from what I'm seeing here, but I've never been too high on Litzau.

    Round 8

Perez is jabbed in the neck and tries to circle out and try another angle. Same result. Magdaleno is scoring with the right jab while maintaining very wide distance with his quick and nimble feet. Perez is knocking on the door with his jab and some low-reaching hooks but can't get past the threshold without eating quick jabs and flashy combos. Perez is bleeding. Magdaleno hammers down with an overhand left, thudding loudly on Perez's glove. Pawing 1-2 by Perez, short. Magdaleno's defense leaks just slightly as Perez manages to connect with one solid right hand up close. Magdaleno flurries but misses while backing up. Perez lunges and misses a jab. Magdaleno hops on his toes.

    10-9 Magdaleno

    77-73

I agree would be good for 1 of Top Rank's PPV undercards late this yr e.g. Pacquiao-Marquez or Cotto-Margarito.

Magdaleno i would favour to beat Litzau tho.

    Round 9

Perez is timing his right hand now, catching Magdaleno out of rhythm as he watches him circle. Magdaleno closes the gap and swarms around Perez, buzzing around in tight circles and flashing his hands. Perez slaps with a left hook and tries for a right to the body but it just splats limply into the bottom of Magdaleno's elbow. Left uppercut to the chest leaning in by Magdaleno. Wide circling. Perez dives in with a right hand, missing and countered. Southpaw 1-2 by Magdaleno pushes Perez back, covering up. Magdaleno lands right jabs and slips shots backing up to the ropes and crouching, showing off his agility.

    10-9 Magdaleno

    87-82
