87-82 Magdaleno, clearly he's got this one wrapped up save a big Perez punch. At this point I can't see Perez landing that. Since the flash KD he's done more or less nothing.

    Round 10

Magdaleno lands a right jab to the larynx. Perez slaps with his left hook from outside, telegraphing. Magdaleno stands still and lures Perez in, trading jabs with him. Perez is landing some but not bothering Magdaleno. Perez is wobbled! Right hooks by Magdaleno. Hard overhand left by Magdaleno is ducked. Hard body combo! Perez is digging deep and trying to summon the strength to throw one more big salvo, but he looks very arm weary. Magdaleno circles outside anyway, as Perez is applying heavy pressure. Perez misses a lunging right. Magdaleno taps him on the nose with long right jabs while keeping his distance. Lean-in by Magdaleno, pushing out of the clinch and landing a quick combo upstairs. Magdaleno throws a right jab but has it knocked aside as Perez wings hard but very slow shots at him. They trade hard body shots and Perez misses an overhand right just at the bell.

10-9 Magdaleno - a part of me feels he could have bagged himself a 10-8 if he'd wanted it.

    97-91

97-91 Magdaleno, wide decision that he never looked like he was in trouble (well, once he bounced up from the KD)

If you're a world class operator, you're either going to get sparked by Perez...or outpoint him. (Magdaleno came close to the former but pulled out the latter with aplomb)

So does that mean Adolfo Landeros is halfway world class? :huh
