Raiymkulov beat Casamayor, got stopped against Campbell then just had stay busy fights for a couple years untill falling off hard.

Nazarov was a legend, he made the most of what opportunities he did have but considering the era guys like him were ghosts who could be easily ignored. To this day ODL dare not speak his name, same for MAG, and i'm sure Sanchez ducks the question every time GGG brings it up in camp.

He beat Kostya in the '88 Soviet Nationals and should have gone to the Olympics but got appendicitis and couldn't go due to the surgery. Iron chin and heavier hands than Tszyu.

Ya he fell off before that seemed to have a short peak, not dedicated, who knows. Him strangling Mayweather was the best part of his career.

Also regarding Nazarov going blind in one eye (4 surgeries trying to re-attach his retina failed) and getting shot by a 7.62 x 39 round in a drive-by probably didn't help either.

First twelve names mentioned are legit champs/contenders. Pascal might be used up, as is Bute...And I don't think Mekhonstev, Lephikin and Shabranskyy are going anywhere. But you could add guys like Kalajdzic and Boesel pretty easily. LH looks to be entering another Golden Era.

I'v always thought Bivol should be at 168 i don't think he cuts much if any weight and he'll be giving up alot of size to guys like Beterbiev and Gvozdyk.

I like how he expertly holds with the right while throwing hard left handed shots on the trapped fighter... Lennox Lewis style. Slick stuff. :boxing1

I made the same point more than a year ago. Bivol could easily clean and dominate SMW, while at LHW he will struggle against the top four. Any idea why there has been no talk of him moving down?

Two names that sounded familiar, Nazarov was really good as an amateur and couldn't reach the chances as a pro, Kid Diamond was another quality amateur, but imo he lacked the right mentality.

Bivol was the star tonight, he was fantastic, another Eastern European and at 175!!! Hawkins was the house fighter, fighting a substitute who was a substitute for the substitute, untrained, a bum. Why do they show such mismatches on TV......................damn! Showtime could do better than that! I would rather watch a sparring session...........
