Double jab, right cross by Wade, splitting Brinson's guard and backing him into the ropes. Shoeshine on the body by Brinson. Clinch, Brinson walking Wade into the ropes. High jab by Wade, snapping Brinson's head. Hacking flurry by Brinson, hitting the spine of Wade as he bends forward.

Brinson is rolling his arms in front of his stomach, walking in confidently and throwing hard wide body shots diving in. Wade counters with the jab, letting his left dangle and swing, utterly relaxed as he backs up and waits for Brinson. Nice counter uppercut by Wade. More heavy body shots from Brinson jumping in, but unable to build off them as Wade steps off and jabs.

"You gotta be more consistent with the pressure. You're losing this fight like this. You gave away the early, or, uh, all the rounds. Consistent pressure. That was our game plan man. You didn't...you haven't been doing it..."

Round 8

Brinson is hurling in hard rights on the body and backing Wade up. Wade is flicking out longer jabs, singles now, throwing without dropping the balls of his feet onto the canvas, very light. Brinson is stalking and throwing right hands at the body and hooking combos when he gets Wade almost trapped while cornering, but otherwise just watching as Wade circles away. The crowd boos. Leaping left hook by Brinson. Wade stuffs a right in under Brinson's elbow and tries clinching but is knocked away with a two-handed shove.

They just showed highlights of Gerald Washington vs. Travis Walker from the non-televised undercard earlier tonight.

Washington beat him by TKO2. Big right hands from the big man derailed the Freight Train.

Brinson is still whipping in body shots coming forward. Wade is sliding his feet, using the four corner defense, countering with jabs when Brinson comes diving in. Chopping right hands behind the jab, sloppy and landing upon Brinson's upper back or sailing overhead. Clinches as Wade misses right hands up top and/or Brinson comes diving in with shoeshines on the body.

Brinson is moving in, knifing up with his left jab, head down, looking to peel Wade's elbows out from his body and start pummeling it but unable to keep him still. Wade is circling and jabbing, catching Brinson with counter rights across the cheek from outside. Jab on the pectoral by Brinson, finding a spot to land past the lowered arms of Wade. Jab on the belly by Brinson. Barking 1-2 by Wade. Jab and chopping right by Wade. Jab on the body and can-opener right on the buttocks by Brinson as Wade turns away from him and into the ropes.
