Lara is opening up welts on the left cheek of Smith with his right jab. Lefts on the body by Lara. Smith is staggered off-balance by a long 1-2 from the crouch by Lara. Smith is feeling those lefts downstairs. Smith now puts Lara on the ropes throwing big left hooks on the body. Lara skates away, spreading his wing span, showboating. Left hand by Lara. Smith now showboats, thumping his chest and exposing his chin, nodding and talking. Lara dives to the side and pot shots with lead lefts and right jabs. Smith is trying to find Lara's head with the jab but Lara is staying out of range, playing around, hands low, head rolling to either side. Lara puts his right out in a fake-jab off to the side at an invisible target, a little watch-the-birdie before drawing up his arm and throwing a quick right hook at the body.

Round 6

Lara is keeping it simple - right jabs up top while ducking away, then hard straight lefts on the body. Smith is attempting to corral Lara into the ropes with big hooking attacks leaping in, but Lara is dropping his shoulder low and rolling under everything with his elbows tucked in tight, quickly scrambling out side door.
