Lara is now letting his back slide along the ropes. Smith phonographs with the left jab, wiping Lara's forehead with it while pushing him into the ropes. Excellent footwork by Lara, getting nailed with heavy isolated body shots but never more than one, using directional changes and controlling range, countering with pot shot jabs and lefts.

Round 10

Lara is on the ropes immediately, jumping up with a right jab to get free. Smith is staying in his face with the left jab. Underhanded body combo by Smith. Lara is dancing away. Lara hurtles in with a right jab and flaps down a left across Smith's right shoulder. Lara is backed off by a high wide pair of hooks after Smith gets in a few s****es on the body. Hard left on the navel by Lara, placed very well from outside. Lara is grazed by a right hand backing up. Smith is pushed down to his knees as he moves in on Lara against the ropes. Lara is waiting for Smith on the ropes, then reaching around with a right hook behind the ear as he slides away to his right. Combo up top by Smith, grazing. BIG uppercut combo on the body by Smith, bending his knees to leverage them with extra force while posting up in front of Lara giving him nowhere to go.

Smith would have won that round if he spent just another 45 or so more seconds overall working the body the way he did in the last 5-10.

Round 11

Lara is landing the left hand at will, very accurate from an outside crouch. Smith is pressuring now, throwing hard body shots and jabbing on the way in, giving Lara no reprieve. BIG left hook flush on the side by Smith. Lara is throwing very little as he backs up, four corner defense, stretching out his right jab but not getting there. Body shots by Smith whenever he gets close. Lara squats very low and jumps in to hold. Lara throws a 1-2 but Smith quickly assembles his guard.
