Yep that's fair. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch a repeat though.

Well Smith's game plan didn't really include the jab (mostly just body work), while Lara's strategy was to flash it to set up his far more effective pot shot lefts.

Rigo doesnt use his jab in a traditional way either. Maybe a cuban southpaw thing?

Come on. People were acting like this would be the worst televised fight all year. It wasn't even close. It wasn't that bad.

In the sense of being monotonous from round to round, not a lot of drama, sure - but Lara didn't run (until the championship rounds) and Smith let his hands go. It wasn't the stinker most predicted.

To be fair I think they counted lara's pawing right hand to judge distance as a jab, which they often don't. Makes it look worse than it was

Bizarrely I really enjoyed Lara Smith:nut

Based solely on my dislike of Ishe, its always nice seeing one of Floyd's guys schooled

Lara had a fairly easy time with Smith. Smith couldn't have been the best available contender or?

Fair judging according to clean punches landed and I have to say Lara takes it. :bbb

Lara vs. Pearson to give TMT/Haymon a chance to get the belt in-house again. (making sure they handle their graft business next time) :deal
