ShoBox: Guerrero vs. Smith & Lane vs. Dallas Jr. & Porter vs. Robinson RBR

Round 7

Smith has Guerrero on the ropes and throws hooking shots with both hands. Guerrero shells up as Smith continues to try and hit him high, and then gets frustrated and goes to the body again (again straying low, unseen by Randy Phillips). Hard right hook to the flank by Guerrero. Smith is trapped on the ropes and takes several unanswered blows before fighting his way back out to the middle of the ring. Smith slips and blocks while waiting his turn to punch in combination.

 

Round 8

Guerrero unloading a large volume of arm punches. Smith is doing some nice boxing but getting outworked. Guerrero fishes to the body and gets a few bites. Smith drops Guerrero with a 1-2! Flash KD

 

Round 9

Guerrero drills a 1-2 to the body of Smith and takes some looping shots on either side. Smith begins to hit Guerrero in the body now, then an uppercut to Guerrero's chin. BIG hook lands for Smith. Guerrero no longer outworking Smith, as he is mostly covering up in the round after the knockdown. Uppercuts landing well for Smith. Body work still being used liberally by Smith. Guerrero finally starts to open up a bit with less than a minute left. Smith lands three uppercuts in a row. Guerrero misses a 1-2 and slaps the body of Smith. Guerrero gets hit with a left hook and a couple of rights to the head.
