Dallas isn't very impressive for that many amateur fights.

    Round 5

Lane is swiftly pulling straight back as Dallas steps inside his feet and looses several straight shots. Dallas catches Lane with a stinging uppercut. Lane getting very little done offensively this round. Every time he extends his arm for a punch he's either grabbed into a clinch or countered by the longer-ranged Dallas.

    10-9 Dallas

    Round 6

Dallas pouncing back and forth on his long spidery legs, leading with hooks and jabs. Lane defends well, but leaves Dallas free to score points with high/low combinations as Lane's own offense is mostly shut down. Lane double jabs his way in, and stays on Dallas with the jab. They work on the inside a bit and get broken up. Dallas loops a hook around Lane's glove as he circles left. Lane throws another 1-2 that Dallas ducks right under. They get tangled a bit more.

    59-55 Dallas

He's from my town. I've seen him fight before, never really impressed me other than his speed. I see the potential, but he needs a better trainer. His father isn't cutting it.

    Round 7

Dallas drives Lane away from the center of the ring with jabs to the body that Lane dodges. Lane flashes his way in on Dallas. A three punch combo for Lane can't find the mark as Dallas pulls back with his upper body leaned away and Dallas tries to grab him. Lane starts punching and Dallas turns to the ref to ask him something. Lane keeps punching and Dallas is forced to quickly defend. Lane lands a left hook. Lane pushes out a 1-2 that doesn't land cleanly but does physically throw Dallas back. Lane pops Dallas in the face with a double jab, and then works the body. Dallas grabs him.

Good round for Lane, but he's coming on very late here.

    68-65 Dallas
