    Farhood asks if Rigondeaux is surprised to have reached this level of success so fast.

    The Jackal says doors were closed to him in 2011, but 2012 will be his year. Bob Arum is the GOAT promoter.


    Farhood asks what his emotions are to have conquered the pro game as well as the amateurs.

    Rigondeaux says you've got to respect a 2-time Olympic medalist and that's the hardest thing to do in sports. He would have been a 3-time medalist had he not defected.


    Farhood says he established himself early against Ramos. Did he find it easy?

    Rigondeaux says Ramos is good, but that when he (Rigondeaux) trains hard nobody can beat him. Great camp, great team, great sparring. Rigondeaux wants the GOAT promoter Bob Arum to feed him Donaire.

    Did we not get the official scores at the time of the stoppage again for the main event?

    I was starting to love that Showtime was doing that.

    (not that anyone in their right mind had anything other than a 50-44 shutout for Rigondeaux)

    Last time out donaire showed if his opponent does not give him the openings he won't find them. rigo as boring as he can be will find those openings. i think it is a fight of a good counter puncher vs. a great counter puncher. you put the names to the titles.

    The problem with Narvaez is that he never opened up. If you never open up and the guy is pasting you with shots (blocked or not) you're going to lose a very boring fight. Rigo has holes in his game and he does open up. Donaire can land.

    Agreed. Might be a boring fight tho as botch wait for counters. Rigo showed that HE WILL NOT give you something to counter.

    Here is my prediction of that fight. Rigo ko 8. Donaire will open up too much and el chakal will be waiting. with his finishing he just needs one opening. this will literally be a battle of the ****ing cobras. DO NOT BLINK!!
